【笑話原文】

Tomorrow

I was elated when my son called me from Japan with the wonderful news of my grandson’s birth. I took down all the statistics and turned to relate it all to my co-workers. “I’m a grandmother!” I declared. “It’s a baby boy, and he weighs seven pounds.”

“When was he born?” someone asked. Recalling the date my son told me, I stopped, looked at the calendar and said in amazement,“Tomorrow!”

當(dāng)我兒子從日本打電話來(lái)告訴我關(guān)于我的孫子出生的喜訊的時(shí)候，我非常興奮。我把所有的數(shù)據(jù)都記下來(lái)，告訴我的同事們。我宣布說(shuō)：“我當(dāng)奶奶了!是個(gè)男孩，七磅重。”有人問(wèn)：“他是什么時(shí)候生的?”看了一下我兒子給我的日期，我頓住了，看了看日歷，用訝異的語(yǔ)氣說(shuō)：“明天!”
