A friend and I went to a screening of the movie hamlet at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. I was struck by the beauty of the language, thinking how even today Shakespeare's writing remains powerful and true. As we left the movie theater, I wondered if the others in the audience appreciated the movie as I had. Then I heard a young student turn to his friend and say, "There sure were a lot of famous quotes in that movie!"

我和朋友在南伊利諾伊卡本代爾大學(xué)看電影哈姆雷特。我被電影里精彩的臺(tái)詞打動(dòng)了，思考著莎士比亞的作品居然在今天還是那么真實(shí)有力。電影結(jié)束后我們離開(kāi)影院，我還在想著是不是還有別人也像我一樣，這么欣賞這部電影呢。隨后我聽(tīng)到一個(gè)年輕的學(xué)生對(duì)他朋友說(shuō)：“這電影絕對(duì)引用了一大堆著名的話。”
