這里,不該用expect
而應(yīng)該用look forward to
"Love your shows! Look forwad to new shows!" 很喜歡你們的節(jié)目,期待新節(jié)目!
為什么?
Expect指的是基于標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、要求的期待;應(yīng)該發(fā)生:
A boss expects a lot from his employees: 老板對(duì)員工有高要求、高期待
Look forward to指的是期待、愿望、盼望:
I'm really looking forward to the weekend: 我好期待周末
開(kāi)燈: Turn on or open?
中文慣性,說(shuō)“開(kāi)燈”,很容易脫口而出“open the light"。
Can you open the light?
Can you turn on the light?
怎么區(qū)分?
電器、電子設(shè)備用turn on:
Turn on the light: 開(kāi)燈
Turn on the TV: 開(kāi)電視
Turn on the phone: 開(kāi)手機(jī)
Devices: 設(shè)備
其它類型的東西,用open:
Open the door:開(kāi)門
Open the box: 開(kāi)盒子
Open your eyes: 睜開(kāi)眼睛
對(duì)應(yīng)“開(kāi)",“關(guān)”是turn off或者close。

Fun: 好玩兒、有樂(lè)趣、有意思

It's so fun to learn English! 學(xué)英語(yǔ)很有樂(lè)趣!
Funny: 搞笑
Stephen Chou's movies are so funny! 周星馳的電影很搞笑!
My boyfriend's jokes are not funny at all! 我男友的笑話一點(diǎn)兒也不好笑。
注意:一個(gè)人可以同時(shí)fun和funny!
Fun口語(yǔ)里也常做形容詞使用,比如形容人。
看一下區(qū)別:

沙發(fā)≠Sofa
大家寫(xiě)留言習(xí)慣用的"sofa"完全錯(cuò)啦!
英語(yǔ)里,sofa就是家具,不能用在留言上。
正確的用法是:
