And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him; and he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
看到眾人，他走上山。坐下后，信徒們走上來；他開口教導(dǎo)他們，說：
Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
虛心的人有福了；因?yàn)樘靽撬麄兊摹?/p>
Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth.
悲傷的人有福了，因?yàn)樗麄儗⒌玫桨参?。順從的人有福了，因?yàn)樗麄儗⒗^承世界。
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled.
對正直如饑似渴的人有福了，因?yàn)樗麄儠?huì)充滿正直。
Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy.
慈愛的人有福了，因?yàn)樗麄儗⒌玫酱葠邸?/p>
Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.
心地純凈的人有福了，因?yàn)樗麄儗⒁姷缴瘛?/p>
Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God.
使人和睦的人有福了，因?yàn)樗麄儗⒈环Q作神的子民。
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
因?yàn)檎倍艿狡群Φ娜擞懈Ａ?，因?yàn)樘靽撬麄兊摹?/p>
Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
人或因我而辱罵你們、迫害你們、捏造各種惡毒的話誹謗你們，你們有福了。
Rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven.
你們應(yīng)該歡喜快樂，因?yàn)槟銈冊谔焐系幕貓?bào)是大的。
Ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
你們曾經(jīng)聽到古人說，不可背誓，而應(yīng)該向主遵守誓言；
but I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: nor by the earth;
可是我要對你們說，什么誓都不要起；不要以天國的名義起誓，因?yàn)樘靽巧系鄣膶氉?/p>
for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
不要以大地的名義起誓，因?yàn)榇蟮厥巧系鄣哪_凳；不要以耶路撒冷的名義起誓，因?yàn)樗峭醯某鞘小?/p>
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
不要用你的頭起誓，因?yàn)槟悴荒苊钜桓^發(fā)變白或變黑。
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
是，就說是，不是，就說不是；多余的話都是出自邪惡的。
