英語美文朗讀 第560期 Walk alone，from the dark to the light

In this life we need to walk alone. We need the isolation, because through that journey, we figure out what we're made of. We figure out what we're willing to go through for success.

 

在人生中，我們都需要自己一個人走。我們需要獨處，因為在人生旅途中，我們會慢慢地發(fā)現(xiàn)自己。我們會明白，為了成功，我們愿意經(jīng)歷什么樣的考驗。

 

Society loves to sell you the comfort. That's why we have fast food on every corner. That's why we have a pill for every problem. But I can tell you, nothing good comes from comfort. Nothing good comes from easy. Success lives in the pain. It lives in the sacrifice.

這個社會總是想讓我們追求安逸，所以每個轉角處都有快餐食品店，所以每種身體不適都有某些藥片可以解決。但是，我要告訴你，好的東西，絕不是從安逸中得來的。好的東西，絕不是輕而易舉就能得到的。成功，是從痛苦中誕生的，是從犧牲中誕生的。

 

But you won't know that until you're willing to work, until you're willing to fight for your dreams. You don't need the validation from them. You don't need your friends to co-sign on your dreams. You don't need to live by the standards of society.

但是，如果你不愿意奮斗，如果你不愿意為自己的夢想而努力，你就不會明白這個道理。你不需要別人的認可。如果朋友們不認可你的夢想，你也不用理會。你不需要根據(jù)社會標準來生活。

 

You need to believe in your own process, in your own journey. At the end of the day, you only answer to yourself. You must live life on your terms, regardless of your goals or your dreams. This starts with you, finding your purpose, finding your why. Because once you have that reason, there should be no one that can stop you.

你需要做的，是相信自己的努力過程，相信自己的人生旅途。畢竟，你最終還是要跟自己對話。無論你的目標是什么，無論你的夢想是什么，你都要根據(jù)自己的標準來生活。這一切都從你自己開始，找到你的目標，找到你的追求。因為，一旦你有了努力的理由，沒有人可以阻擋你。

 

Your purpose must light the fire in the darkness. Your purpose must fuel the progress through the pain. Everything is built off momentum, inch by inch, every moment of every second, is the chance to build, is the chance to live, to explore, to search for greatness, but you need to start now.

你的目標，會點亮火焰，照亮黑暗。你的目標，會讓你熬過痛苦，助你獲得更大的進步。世界上所有事物，都來自于動力，每一點動力，每一秒動力，都是大有作為的機會，都是活出精彩人生的機會，都能鼓勵你去探索，去尋找偉大的事物。但是，你需要從現(xiàn)在開始就行動起來。

 

There is no wait in this life. The world is full of people that are waiting to start. There is no more next month. There is no more I'll start tomorrow. You need to start now. You need to believe you are ready. You need to believe you have what it takes to make it through.

人生拒絕等待。在這個世界上，很多人在等待，遲遲不愿行動。沒有什么下個月再做，沒有什么明天再開始。你必須，現(xiàn)在，就開始行動。你必須，相信自己已經(jīng)準備好了。你必須，相信你擁有成功的潛力。

 

This won't be easy. Walking alone never is, but once you taste that success, once you see the possibilities, you will finally be free. The last thing you want to do is ask yourself what if five years from now. What if I would have chased my dreams? What if I would have believed in myself? What if I would have pursued my calling?

這可不是什么輕松的事。獨自行走，從來不輕松。但是，一旦你嘗到了成功的美好，一旦你看見了那么多可能性，你的心境就會變得自由。你肯定不想在五年以后才問自己，要是當初我做了這件事，會怎么樣？要是當初我勇敢追尋夢想，會怎么樣？要是當初我能相信自己，會怎么樣？要是當初我為自己的使命而奮斗，會怎么樣？

 

There can be no doubt in this life. You have the chance to make the impossible possible. So fight through the pain. Build from the progress and chase the dream. You are the lone wolf.

人生容不得任何懷疑。你有機會，去讓不可能成為可能。所以，勇敢面對痛苦，去奮斗吧。不斷進步，不斷追夢。你就是一匹孤狼。

 

You don't move out of fear or anxiety. You move out of precision and calculation. You don't follow anyone. But you lead everyone. Those who doubt will learn. Those who believe will be your family. The lone wolf is born out of necessity, from the dark to the light.

你的每一個舉動，不是出于恐懼或焦慮，而是出于敏銳和深思。你不跟隨任何人的腳步，但所有人都愿意跟隨你的腳步。那些質疑你的人，最終會發(fā)現(xiàn)你是對的。那些相信你的人，會成為你的盟友。孤狼，因使命而生，從黑暗奔向光明。
