How much time do you spend every day debating with yourself whether you should go and study or procrastinate a little longer?

 

每天，你會(huì)花多少時(shí)間來與自己心理斗爭(zhēng)？到底是要去學(xué)習(xí)，還是再多拖延一會(huì)兒？

 

Well, let me give you some advice. Sometimes you have to ignore what you're feeling, and just go through the motions. You might feel like watching TV. You might feel like doing something. You might not feel like doing something. And instead of not doing it, just go ahead and go through the motions. Get it done. Get out there and do what you're supposed to do.

讓我給你點(diǎn)建議吧。有時(shí)候，你必須忽略自己的感受，直接行動(dòng)。你可能想看電視，你可能想去做什么，你可能不想去做什么。不要把事情擱著不做，你要直接采取行動(dòng)，把事情完成。行動(dòng)起來，做自己該做的事。

 

It's the problem most students have. They negotiate with procrastination. And at first, it's difficult to overcome. But the more you do it, the more you make yourself study even when you don't feel like it, the easier it will become. Get up, and go and study.

很多學(xué)生都有類似的問題。他們會(huì)跟自己的拖延癥較量。最初，他們很難克服拖延癥。但是，他們?cè)绞切袆?dòng)，越是在不想學(xué)習(xí)的時(shí)候?qū)W習(xí)，克服拖延癥就會(huì)越簡(jiǎn)單。站起來，行動(dòng)起來，去學(xué)習(xí)吧！

 

We all know the students that complain about their grades. They make excuses why they couldn't achieve higher. But because they're making excuses, they blame everyone else but themselves, so they don't do anything about it. They don't fix anything. They don't improve anything, so they continue getting the same grades.

我們都知道，學(xué)生會(huì)抱怨自己的成績(jī)不夠好。對(duì)于自己得不到更高的成績(jī)，他們總會(huì)有借口。但是，因?yàn)樗麄冋医杩冢麄儗?shí)際上就是在埋怨別人，而不是從自己身上找原因，所以他們也不會(huì)想辦法解決問題。他們不會(huì)去處理任何事情，他們不會(huì)去改善任何事情，所以他們的成績(jī)一直不如意。

 

If all you do is complain, nothing's going to happen in your life. Be obsessed over your future. Be consumed by the possibilities. The super-successful don't stop when they hit their targets. They simply reset and go again. That dream is not going to just sit there, and wait for you to come and get it.

如果你老是抱怨，你的人生就不會(huì)有變化。多關(guān)注你的未來，多為不同的可能性而努力。那些非常成功的人，就算他們達(dá)成了目標(biāo)，也不會(huì)停下腳步。他們會(huì)重新調(diào)整，重新開始。你的夢(mèng)想不會(huì)等著你去實(shí)現(xiàn)它。

 

You've got to chase it. You've got to chase it like a man possessed. You've got to go, and get it. So, what are you doing about it? You've got to take action with your studying. Find a solution to your problem. Don't be the problem.

你必須去追尋夢(mèng)想，你必須瘋狂地追尋自己的夢(mèng)想。你必須采取行動(dòng)，實(shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想。那么，你正在為實(shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想付出什么樣的努力呢？你必須采取行動(dòng)，開始學(xué)習(xí)。找辦法去解決問題，而不要讓自己成為最大的問題。

 

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If you increase your studying by 50%, your grades are also likely to increase. And if they don't, then find out why.

你的每個(gè)行動(dòng)，都會(huì)得到公平的回饋。如果你多花50%的時(shí)間和精力去學(xué)習(xí)，那么你的成績(jī)也有可能提升。如果你這樣做了，成績(jī)還沒有進(jìn)步，那么就去尋找原因。
