1. 記住常見的只能跟動名詞不能跟不定式作賓語的動詞，可以避免在使用時產(chǎn)生錯誤。

表示“建議”、“完成”、“推遲”和“想象”：suggest, finish, postpone, delay, imagine

表示“需要”、“承認”、“介意”和“原諒”：require, admit, mind, pardon, excuse

表示“避免”、“冒險”、“練逃”和“錯過”：avoid, risk, practice, escape, miss

表示“允許”、“考慮”、“理解”和“歡”“賞”：allow, permit, consider, understand, enjoy,appreciate

He avoided giving us a definite answer.

他避免給我們作肯定的回答。

I am sorry I missed seeing you while in Beijing.

很遺憾在北京時我沒有見到你。

Having finished correcting the students' papers?

學生的卷子改完了嗎？

1）上述動詞后接的動名詞其邏輯主語與句子的主語不一致時，可以加上邏輯主語，通常用名詞或代詞的賓格表示，也可用它們的屬格表示。

Would you mind my/me opening the window?

我把窗戶打開你介意嗎？

I quite appreciated Tom/Toms' always coming to school in time.

我很欣賞湯姆總是按時到校。

2）在decline deny, postpone等動詞后若放動名詞的邏輯主語，大多數(shù)用屬格形式。

He declined my inviting him to join in our singing songs.

他拒絕了我邀請他參加我們一起唱歌。

2. 常見的可以跟動名詞作賓語，而且也可用sb./sth. doing結(jié)構的動詞：appreciate, consider, excuse, mind, propose, suggest, admit, delay, prevent, decline, forgive等。

Our teacher suggested having a class meeting.

我們老師建議開個班會。

I am considering your suggesting traveling to Beijing.

我在考慮你建議去北京旅游一事。

3. 但是在advise, allow, permit后，如果提到有關的人，可用動詞不定式結(jié)構：sb. to do

Our English teacher advised reading English aloud every morning.

我們英語老師建議每天早上朗讀英語。

Our English teacher advised us to read English aloud every morning.

我們英語老師建議我們每天早上朗讀英語。

4. 用it作形式賓語把真正的賓語動名詞后置。

在“動詞+it(形式賓語)+賓語補語+動名詞/不定式”結(jié)構中，若賓補是no use, no good, any/much good, any/much use, a waste of time/money等時，真正的賓語只能是動名詞，而不能用不定式。

I don't think it any use trying to persuade her to give up smoking.

我認為試圖說服她戒煙是沒用的。

常用于此句型的動詞有consider, think, feel, find, make等。

I find it no good to health sitting up too late.

我覺得熬夜太晚對健康沒好處。
