詞組講解

1. get 〔have, take〕 one's hands off sb. or sth. / get one's hands off **放開,松手

解 習(xí)語;詞義溯源:使得手[脫離、放開(off)];參照keep one's hands off sb. or sth.

例 Could you get your hands off my car? I told you I don't want my windows washed. Damn!These street people in this city are aggressive. They try intimidating visitors.

2. get 〔lay〕 one's hands on sb. or sth. / lay one's hands on **抓住,弄到手

解 〈口〉習(xí)語;詞義溯源:使手處于某人或某物[上面(on)]

例 When I get my hands on the person who stole my cell phone, he'll wish he had never been born. I'm going to get physical !When I'm finished with him, his face will look like a combination pizza!
