Hi, everyone! This is Keke Net English. Welcome to Juliet’s Morning English Class. As a saying runs. “An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening. ” And a nother saying goes, “An early bird catches the worm. ” So, what are you going to get at this morning? 課題詳解：

We’ve a way to indicate that the reason for something happening can now be understood. It is like to say “I see the reason why...”. Guess what it is. Let’s listen to the following mini situational dialogue to get the answer.

(Scene:It happens between two persons who are talking about wine. )

A:I left a bottle of wine outside your door last night.

(譯文：昨晚我把一瓶酒忘在你家門口了。)

B:I wondered where it came from. That explains it.

(譯文：我還說哪兒來的一瓶酒了，這下明白了。)

Have you got the answer? It is “That explains it.” The Chinese for it is—— “原來如此”。or “我這才明白。” Here are some short sentences well-picked from hit American films or TV series. Let’s take a look at:

1.Oh, okay, that explains it. I got a call at two two in the morning.

(哦，原來如此呀，難怪我凌晨2點鐘接到電話。)

Tip: “to get a call” means to “receive a call”.

2.That explains it. You have a major crush on her.

(原來是這樣啊，你徹底被她迷住了。)

Tip: “to have a rush on sb” is an idiom which means “to have feelings for sb, or love sb”. For another example:

Our English teacher seems to have a crush on Mary who is our classmate.

(譯文：我們的英語老師似乎對班上同學(xué)Mary有點意思了。)

In addition, here is a sentence which is similar to saying “That explains it.” It is “It all adds up.” For example:

1.It all adds up. You aced it in the final exam because you had cheated in it.

(譯文：原來如此，你在期末考試得滿分是因為你作弊而得到的。)

2.It all adds up. She has done anyone else such an unscrupulous shot in the eye because she is the boss’s pet.

(譯文：哦，我這才明白，她如此肆無忌憚地惡意中傷每個人，是因為她是老板的寵物。)
