鄧超：我有一顆不安定的心

He is full-of-life and boisterous in his film The Breakup Guru (《分手大師》). Meanwhile, he's the sincere and persistent fellow in Ten Years of Love (《相愛(ài)十年》), the series on Hunan TV. In real life, Deng Chao also seems to be able to embrace several roles simultaneously: He's a husband, a father and an actor who always seeks the next breakthrough.

在電影《分手大師》中，他充滿(mǎn)活力，吵鬧嬉笑;在湖南衛(wèi)視上映的電視劇《相愛(ài)十年》中，他又真誠(chéng)率直，不屈不撓。在現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中，鄧超仍然身兼數(shù)角：既是丈夫，又是父親，還是一個(gè)不斷尋求突破的演員。
 

From his recent exposure on TV and the big screen, you may have already figured out how hardworking Deng is. The 35-year-old actor has a successful career; a talented wife, Sun Li, who is also currently at the peak of her career; and two children. What more could he possibly want?

從他最近在電視節(jié)目與大銀幕的亮相，就可以看出鄧超的努力。這位35歲的演員事業(yè)有成，有一個(gè)才華橫溢、同樣處于事業(yè)巔峰的妻子——孫儷，還育有兩子，他還有什么不滿(mǎn)足呢?

"I have a restless soul", Deng said in an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine in June.

在6月接受《時(shí)尚芭莎》雜志的采訪(fǎng)中，鄧超說(shuō)：“我有一顆不安定的心。”

And the latest evidence is his first directorial attempt in The Breakup Guru, a film adaptation of a stage play by the same title, which Deng was the producer of about four years ago.

關(guān)于這一點(diǎn)，鄧超首次自導(dǎo)自演的《分手大師》就是明證，這部電影改編自四年前他擔(dān)任制作人的同名話(huà)劇。

Becoming a producer or director seems to be an inevitable path for many actors nowadays, and the process can be as short as only a few years. But for Deng, it took 12 years.

對(duì)今天的諸多演員而言，成為導(dǎo)演或是制片人似乎是必然之路。有的人只用短短幾年就完成轉(zhuǎn)型，而鄧超卻用了整整12年。

Since Deng first gained popularity as a TV actor in 2002's historic drama Son of Heaven (《少年天子》), he has continued to impress audiences in several hit TV series, such as Happiness as Flowers(《幸福像花兒一樣》) and The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber (《倚天屠龍記》).

2002年，鄧超因?yàn)槌鲅輾v史劇《少年天子》而初具人氣，隨后他又出演了一系列成功的電視劇，如《幸福像花兒一樣》、《倚天屠龍記》等，給觀(guān)眾留下了深刻的印象。

In 2006, Deng starred in Feng Xiaogang's Assembly (《集結(jié)號(hào)》), making himself a movie star. His performances on the big screen were soon acknowledged with important film awards, including Hundred Flowers Awards and Hong Kong Film Awards.

2006年，鄧超在馮小剛的電影《集結(jié)號(hào)》中擔(dān)綱主演，成功進(jìn)軍大銀幕。他在大銀幕上的表現(xiàn)很快得到認(rèn)可，獲得一些頗有分量的電影獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，其中包括百花獎(jiǎng)，以及香港電影金像獎(jiǎng)。
 

"Today's young celebrities are often pushed to try a lot of different things", Deng told Men's Uno magazine in April. "But I prefer to take my time, step by step, doing things when I'm fully prepared."

在4月《Men's Uno》雜志的采訪(fǎng)中，鄧超說(shuō)道：“現(xiàn)在的年輕藝人都急于在各個(gè)方面進(jìn)行嘗試，但是我個(gè)人更喜歡按照自己的節(jié)奏，一步一步來(lái)，在完全準(zhǔn)備好之后再有所行動(dòng)。”

Now, Deng is confident enough to present himself as a new director, although he admitted that it's not an easy transformation.

現(xiàn)在，鄧超已經(jīng)對(duì)自己新晉導(dǎo)演的身份充滿(mǎn)信心，盡管他自己也承認(rèn)這一轉(zhuǎn)型并不容易。

"You can be a perfectionist as an actor, because you're only responsible for one character", Deng said at The Breakup Guru's premiere in Shanghai on June 17. "But being a director requires the art of balancing. Often times, you need to let go of things."

在6月17日《分手大師》的上海點(diǎn)映會(huì)上，鄧超也說(shuō)，“作為演員，你可以做一個(gè)完美主義者，因?yàn)槟阒灰獙?duì)自己飾演的角色負(fù)責(zé)即可。但是作為導(dǎo)演，你必須學(xué)會(huì)權(quán)衡。很多時(shí)候，你不得不妥協(xié)。”

No matter what response his directorial debut will receive, Deng has certainly surprised fans, and himself, too. "You never know how much potential you've got", Deng said. "That's why 15 years later, my job still excites me."

不論導(dǎo)演處女作在未來(lái)反響如何，鄧超無(wú)疑都讓粉絲驚艷了一把，同時(shí)也讓自己始料未及。如他所言“你永遠(yuǎn)不知道自己的潛力有多大，這也是為什么15年之后，我的工作依舊讓我充滿(mǎn)激情。”
