To sum up, there’s a lot to like about China. It is quickly overtaking the US and other developed countries in many areas.

As a Pakistani, I think I am more eligible to answer this question as you may know that we Pakistanis have a known affection for China.

Respect-Chinese government or people do not interfere in your country’s internal affairs unlike the Western countries.

Keep Quiet - Chinese government and their people are very humble. We all know how much they have advanced in the last few decades and they take pride in that but they do not tout that pride to others. They are just moving ahead.

Extremely safe - you never have to worry about violent or confrontational crimes on the street - everyone I know feels perfectly safe walking anywhere in the city at any time of day or night.

For a city the size of Shanghai, it’s really impressive to see how clean and organized it is. Nice parks around the city with amazing landscaping, clean and wide sidewalks, bike/scooter dedicated lanes on the streets. The public bathrooms are much better than you’d expect.

Finally, I also have to say that outside of China, most people don’t really like it, because it’s just so different, and they just don’t know much about it.
