英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)中的性別歧視——社會(huì)家庭地位具體表現(xiàn)

　　英語(yǔ)中有許多諺語(yǔ)體現(xiàn)了女性低下的社會(huì)地位和在家庭中的從屬地位對(duì)女性的要求，下面就從這個(gè)方面舉例予以說(shuō)明。

　　1.社會(huì)地位和家庭地位

　　Man, woman and devil are three degrees of comparison.

　　(丈夫不在家，等于說(shuō)沒(méi)人。)

　　自古以來(lái)，婦女就處于社會(huì)底層，飽受歧視和壓迫，在家里也只是男人的附屬品，是一匹任丈夫隨意打罵的牲口，男人即使身無(wú)分文也比女子強(qiáng)，他們甚至把女性視為商品。
