老顧客11天未訂披薩 達(dá)美樂送餐員救其性命

Thanks to the concern of a long-time deliverydriver, a Domino's Pizza regular was rescued right inthe nick of time.

多虧一名長(zhǎng)期以來負(fù)責(zé)送貨的司機(jī)的關(guān)心,一位達(dá)美樂比薩的老顧客才能及時(shí)得救。

According to Domino's employees, Kirk Alexander, 48, has been ordering pizza from the same Oregonlocation for the last ten years.

據(jù)達(dá)美樂公司的員工表示,在過去十年里,48歲的柯克·亞歷山大一直從俄勒岡州的達(dá)美樂餐廳訂購披薩。

The general manager of the New Salem location,Sarah Fuller, told KOIN: "He orders every day, every other day. His order pops up on thescreen because he orders online. So we see it come across the screen and we're like, 'Oh,Kirk's order.'"

新塞勒姆州的總經(jīng)理莎拉·富勒接受KOIN電視臺(tái)采訪時(shí)表示:"他每天或者每隔一天就訂一次披薩。他一般都從網(wǎng)上預(yù)訂,看到訂單在屏幕上彈出來,我們就會(huì)說'哦。是柯克的訂單。'"

But his regular delivery driver, Tracey Hamblen, mentioned that he has not delivered to hishome in several days, so Fuller decided to look into his account.

但是柯克的常規(guī)送貨司機(jī)特雷西·漢布倫最近提到,他已經(jīng)好幾天沒去給他家送餐了,于是富勒決定查看一下他的賬號(hào)。

"I went and looked up to see how long it had been since he last ordered and it was 11 days,which is not like him at all," Fuller said in an interview with KATU.

富勒在接受KATU采訪時(shí)說:"我隨即查看了一下,發(fā)現(xiàn)他已經(jīng)有11天沒有訂披薩了,這根本不是他的風(fēng)格。"

The next morning, she asked Hamblen to pay their loyal customer a visit and make sureeverything was all right.

于是在第二天早上,富勒就讓漢布倫去拜訪一下他們的老顧客柯克,確保一切正常。

That's when Hamblen noticed something was wrong.

隨后,漢布倫發(fā)現(xiàn)情況有些不對(duì)勁。

The Domino's manager said that when Hamblen arrived on the scene, "(Alexander) wasn'tanswering the door, but there was lights on and you could hear the TV playing," she told KATU.

達(dá)美樂的經(jīng)理向KATU描述了漢布倫到達(dá)時(shí)的情景:"亞歷山大沒有開門,但是屋里的燈和電視都開著。"

They then tried to phone Alexander several times, but each call went straight to voicemail.Finally, Hamblen dialed 911.

之后他們?cè)囍o亞歷山大打了幾個(gè)電話,但是每個(gè)電話都直接轉(zhuǎn)到了語音信箱。最后,漢布倫撥打了911。

When police arrived on the scene, they could hear a man calling for help, the Marion CountySheriff's Office wrote on its Facebook page. Officers forced their way into the home, and foundAlexander "in need of immediate medical attention." According to KOIN, paramedics foundAlexander lying on the floor, and they believed he had suffered a stroke.

馬里昂州警長(zhǎng)辦公室在Facebook上寫道,在警察到達(dá)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)的時(shí)候,他們聽到了有人在求救。隨即警察破門而入,發(fā)現(xiàn)亞歷山大需要立刻送往醫(yī)院。據(jù)KOIN報(bào)道,醫(yī)務(wù)人員看到亞歷山大躺在地上,他們認(rèn)為他應(yīng)該是中風(fēng)了。

Since the incident last weekend, employees at the Domino's have been paying their loyalcustomer visits at the Salem Hospital, where the Marion County Sheriff's Office reported that heis currently in stable condition.

自從上周發(fā)生事故以來,達(dá)美樂的員工們紛紛到塞勒姆醫(yī)院看望老主顧亞歷山大。馬里昂州警長(zhǎng)辦公室表示,亞歷山大的病情目前基本穩(wěn)定。

When Fuller visited their loyal customer, she said "although he did not speak much, she wantedto make sure he knew that he's an important customer that's part of our family here atDomino's. He orders all the time, so we know him. I think we were just doing our job checkingin on someone we know who orders a lot. We felt like we needed to do something,"

富勒在看望老顧客的時(shí)候表示:"雖然他沒有說太多的話,但是我希望他知道:他不僅是一個(gè)重要的顧客,更是達(dá)美樂大家庭的一員。他總是訂披薩,所以我們都認(rèn)識(shí)他。檢查老顧客的情況是我們份內(nèi)的工作,我們想要做也需要做這些事。"
