樂(lè)視旗下上市公司債券發(fā)行被終止

A bond sale by the Shenzhen-listed arm of embattled company LeEco has been cancelled, after the group was asked to address regulators’ concerns about the health of its financials.

處于困境的樂(lè)視(LeEco)旗下深圳上市公司的一筆債券發(fā)行遭到取消，此前該集團(tuán)被要求消除監(jiān)管機(jī)構(gòu)對(duì)其財(cái)務(wù)狀況的顧慮。

Documents posted on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange show that the bond sale by Leshi Internet Information and Technology Company has been terminated. The group gave no reason for the cancellation of the sale, which was intended to raise Rmb2bn ($300m).

根據(jù)深圳證券交易所發(fā)布文件顯示，樂(lè)視網(wǎng)信息技術(shù)有限公司(Leshi Internet Information and Technology Corp)的債券發(fā)行已終止。該債券發(fā)行原計(jì)劃籌集20億元人民幣(合3億美元)，樂(lè)視沒(méi)有對(duì)此次發(fā)行取消給出解釋。

Leshi said in a prospectus that the bond proceeds would “be used to supplement the company’s liquidity”.

樂(lè)視在募集說(shuō)明書(shū)中表示，所募集資金將“將用于補(bǔ)充公司流動(dòng)資金”。

The group filed a bond prospectus on September 23 last year. However, Leshi encountered queries from financial regulators, who questioned whether the company’s financials could support the bonds it proposed to sell.

樂(lè)視于去年9月23日提交一份債券募集說(shuō)明書(shū)。不過(guò)樂(lè)視遭到金融監(jiān)管機(jī)構(gòu)質(zhì)詢(xún)，他們質(zhì)疑該公司財(cái)務(wù)狀況是否能支持其擬發(fā)行的債券。

Auditors submitted three information requests before the termination of the bond sale this week. These included a request for a clarification on how a planned restructuring of the company would affect bond solvency. Another request, submitted in November 2016, asked Leshi to address media reports that questioned its ability to pay back its debts.

在該債券發(fā)行于本周被終止前，審計(jì)人員曾提交三份信息請(qǐng)求。一份請(qǐng)求是要求澄清該公司的一項(xiàng)重組計(jì)劃將如何影響其債券償付能力。另一個(gè)請(qǐng)求提交于2016年11月，要求樂(lè)視對(duì)質(zhì)疑其償債能力的媒體報(bào)道給出回應(yīng)。

The cancellation of the bond sale once again throws into question the prospects of the company, which once imagined itself as a global technology superpower, selling everything from smartphones to cars.

此次取消債券發(fā)行再度引發(fā)了外界對(duì)該公司前景的質(zhì)疑。樂(lè)視曾自我設(shè)想為一家全球科技巨擘，銷(xiāo)售從智能手機(jī)到汽車(chē)等各種產(chǎn)品。

LeEco, the parent company founded by charismatic entrepreneur Jia Yueting, has been buffeted by setbacks in the past year after embarking on an electric car venture. One of China’s most ambitious technology companies, LeEco has since seen a series of missed payments and failed deals.
