隨著豬肉價格下降放緩和燃料價格加速上漲,10月份中國消費價格指數(shù)(CPI)上漲出人意料地加快,而近期連續(xù)加速上漲的工業(yè)生產(chǎn)者出廠價格指數(shù)(PPI)似乎漲勢有所減緩。
China’s official consumer price index, published by the National Bureau of Statistics, rose 1.9 per cent in October, up from 1.6 per cent a month prior and besting a median forecast of 1.8 per cent from economists polled by Reuters. The reading was the highest since January.
中國國家統(tǒng)計局發(fā)布的10月份官方CPI上漲1.9%,高于上一個月1.6%的漲幅,也高于路透(Reuters)對經(jīng)濟學家調(diào)查得出的1.8%的預(yù)測值中位數(shù)。這是自今年1月以來最大的月度CPI漲幅。
Growth in transportation fuel costs climbed 7.5 per cent year on year in October as crude oil prices mounted a global recovery, up from a climb of 5.1 per cent in September. They are up 9.9 per cent for the year to date.

Food prices, heavily weighted in the basket of goods China uses to calculate CPI, were down 0.4 per cent year on year, but improving from September’s fall of 1.4 per cent. Declines in pork prices, a key component which suffered a year-on-year fall of 12.4 per cent in September, moderated somewhat to notch a drop of 10.1 per cent in October.

The fourteenth straight month of expansion for the official producer price index, meanwhile, was tempered somewhat by its failure to pick up from September’s pace of 6.9 per cent – although this still bested expectations that growth in producer prices would slow to 6.6 per cent.
