中國(guó)英語(yǔ)能力等級(jí)量表發(fā)布

China's first scale for English proficiency levels will be implemented June 1, according to the Ministry of Education and State Language Affairs Commission.

據(jù)教育部和國(guó)家語(yǔ)言文字工作委員會(huì)透露，我國(guó)首個(gè)英語(yǔ)能力測(cè)評(píng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)將于6月1日起實(shí)施。

The scale -- the first comprehensive scaling system for teaching, learning and testing the language -- will be helpful in unifying various English tests with different standards and deepening the interconnection between exams at home and abroad.

這一等級(jí)量表是我國(guó)推出的首個(gè)針對(duì)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)和考試的綜合等級(jí)量表系統(tǒng)，將有助于為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不一的各類英語(yǔ)考試提供標(biāo)尺，推動(dòng)國(guó)內(nèi)外考試的對(duì)接。

The scale is divided into nine levels based on English proficiency, covering all the education periods from elementary school to university.

該等級(jí)量表將學(xué)習(xí)者的英語(yǔ)能力分為九個(gè)等級(jí)。涵蓋了從小學(xué)到大學(xué)的所有教育階段。

Specifically, levels 1-2 are for elementary students, level 3 is for junior high school students, level 4 is for high school students, levels 5-6 are for college students with non-English majors, level 7 is for college students majoring in English, and levels 8-9 are for people with superior English language skills.

具體來(lái)說(shuō)，一至二級(jí)相當(dāng)于小學(xué)生水平，三級(jí)相當(dāng)于初中學(xué)生水平，四級(jí)相當(dāng)于高中學(xué)生水平，五至六級(jí)相當(dāng)于非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的大學(xué)生水平，七級(jí)相當(dāng)于主修英語(yǔ)的大學(xué)生水平，八至九級(jí)則相當(dāng)于擁有高級(jí)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言技能的水平。

Along with defining competencies in listening, speaking, reading and writing, the scale also includes pragmatic competence, such as translation and interpretation.

該等級(jí)量表不僅包括聽(tīng)力、口語(yǔ)、閱讀和寫(xiě)作等方面的水平能力，也包括筆譯和口譯等實(shí)用技能。

This aims to help foster students' practical language capacity, cultural awareness andinter cultural communication skills.

這將有助于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的實(shí)際語(yǔ)言能力、文化意識(shí)和跨文化交際能力。
