西班牙圣家堂終于取得建筑許可

Barcelona's famous Sagrada de Familia is finally set to get a building license, 136 years after work onthe still uncompleted church began.

巴塞羅那著名建筑圣家堂終于要取得建筑許可了，此時距離其開建已經(jīng)過去了136年，而且該建筑目前仍未完工。

Construction on the UNESCO World Heritage basilica, which is Barcelona's most visited tourist attraction, began way back in 1882 based on a design by architect Francisco.

圣家堂是聯(lián)合國教科文組織世界遺產(chǎn)地，也是巴塞羅那游客最多的旅游景點。這座教堂于1882年動工，最初是基于建筑師弗朗西斯科的設(shè)計理念。

However, when he resigned, architect Antoni Gaudi took over the design in 1883.

不過在他辭職后，備受敬仰的建筑家安東尼奧·高迪于1883年接手該建筑的設(shè)計工作。

 

 

The building won't be finished until 2026 -- 100 years after the revered architect was killed by a tram in the city.

后來，高迪被城內(nèi)的有軌電車撞死，而這棟建筑要等到高迪死后100年，即2026年才能完工。

The unfinished monument is hailed as a masterpiece of Gothic architecture -- by most -- and it is perhaps the most unique and enigmatic building in the style ever constructed.

這幢未完工的地標(biāo)性建筑被廣泛譽(yù)為哥特式建筑的典范，它甚至可能是人類有史以來建造的最為獨特和神秘的哥特式建筑。

The church's troubles didn't end with Gaudi's untimely death, the construction process was severely hampered by the Spanish civil war and saw the building attacked by anarchists.

這座教堂的麻煩并沒有隨著高迪的英年早逝而結(jié)束，西班牙內(nèi)戰(zhàn)嚴(yán)重阻礙了施工進(jìn)程，建筑本身還遭到了無政府主義者的洗劫。
