　　The number of Chinese international students in the US saw its lowest growth rate in a decade - 0.8% - to reach 372,532 in the 2019-20 academic year, according to a report released on Monday.

　　11月16日發(fā)布的《2020美國(guó)門戶開(kāi)放報(bào)告》顯示，2019-2020學(xué)年，中國(guó)赴美留學(xué)生總數(shù)為372532人，增長(zhǎng)率僅為0.8%，創(chuàng)十年新低。

　　China remains the top source of international students in the US, and students from China accounted for 34.6% of the slightly more than 1 million international students in the US during the 2019-20 academic year, said the 2020 Open Doors Report, compiled by the Institute for International Education.

　　這份由美國(guó)國(guó)際教育協(xié)會(huì)編纂的報(bào)告顯示，中國(guó)依然是美國(guó)最大的國(guó)際學(xué)生生源國(guó)，2019-2020學(xué)年，在美國(guó)超過(guò)100萬(wàn)國(guó)際學(xué)生中，34.6%來(lái)自中國(guó)。

　　The report also shows that international enrollment fell 16% this fall at more than 700 schools surveyed. The flow of new international students into US institutions plummeted 43% from the previous year. Nearly 40,000 international students have deferred enrollment.

　　報(bào)告還顯示，今年秋季，700多所受訪美國(guó)學(xué)校里的國(guó)際學(xué)生總數(shù)減少了16%，國(guó)際新生錄取人數(shù)較去年驟降43%，近4萬(wàn)名國(guó)際學(xué)生推遲入學(xué)。
