I called my mother, told her the broadcast time, and asked her to give me her take on the show. She was very excited about her daughter being on TV. Later, my mother phoned and said, “It was just on and you looked so cute!” “Great, Mom,” I replied, “But did I sound professional, like I knew what I was talking about?” “Gee, I don't know,” she said. “I wasn't listening.”
