A feast
feast 指的是“特殊舉辦的宴會(huì)”,一般邀請(qǐng)很多嘉賓,比如 a wedding feast(婚宴),festival feast(節(jié)日宴會(huì));而 midnight feast 還可以指“偷偷吃的宵夜”

A banquet
正式場(chǎng)合舉行人數(shù)較多、規(guī)模較大的宴席;一般有人致詞,例如:state banquet(國(guó)宴),victory banquet(慶功宴)等;當(dāng)然如果婚禮規(guī)模很大很隆重,像王室婚禮,我們也可以用 wedding banquet 形容婚宴

spread 涂抹;蔓延”做名詞時(shí)有“一席盛宴”的含義,形象地描述了飯菜在餐桌上擺開來(lái)的場(chǎng)面

A slap-up meal
英式口語(yǔ)說(shuō)法;slap-up”用來(lái)形容飯菜“高檔而豐盛的”,比如,我們可以說(shuō)“go for a slap-up meal 吃一頓大餐”
We had a slap-up meal together with families at the night of Mid-Autumn Festival.

A major blowout
blowout指的是“歡樂(lè)、喜慶的宴會(huì)”

A heaving plate
heaving”的意思是“擠滿的、擺滿的”。如果飯菜擺滿了“盤子 plate”,就可以說(shuō)這是“a heaving plate 一大盤菜”
