　　The sign of the sea-goat. Capricorns are very career-orientated[1] people. They are ambitious and have opinions about everything. They do sometimes tend to have a bit of a doom and gloom personality, always seeing the down[2] side of things first. Some capricorns are narrow minded in their thinking but only because they want to do what they think is the very best thing to do.

　　1 orientated：生活中人們常常需要為自己找到合適的位置并確定正確的方向，否則就會(huì)迷失困惑。這里的位置或方向都可以用orientation來(lái)表示，a new orientation in life生活的新方向。如果要表示“以……為方向，以……為目的”就應(yīng)該用orientated或oriented，例如：export-orientated industries外向型工業(yè)，a poor but education-orientated family貧窮但重視教育的家庭。

　　2 down：當(dāng)你感到不開心時(shí)，就會(huì)心理消沉，說(shuō)不定臉也拉了下來(lái)，那么用down感覺是否很恰當(dāng)呢？I feel down today，不過(guò)生活總是有順有逆，盛衰循環(huán)，我們應(yīng)該正確對(duì)待這些不可避免的ups and downs，不要總是down-hearted意志消沉、無(wú)精打采。
