美國(guó)習(xí)慣用語(yǔ)：926 around the corner 馬上，不久之后

我有個(gè)朋友訂婚了，我本以為她怎么也要等上幾個(gè)月才會(huì)辦婚禮。于是問(wèn)她怎么計(jì)劃，我好提前安排時(shí)間，請(qǐng)好假，趕去外地參加她的婚禮。結(jié)果她一說(shuō)出婚期，嚇我一跳，原來(lái)就是下禮拜! 閃婚啊! 這讓我想到一個(gè)習(xí)慣用語(yǔ)：around the corner.

Around the corner的意思是“馬上，不久之后”。My friend's wedding isn't months away as I'd thought; it's around the corner! 我朋友的婚禮根本不是像我想的那樣，還有好幾個(gè)月才辦，而是沒(méi)幾天就要舉行了!

唉，真不知道她怎么能在那么短的時(shí)間里籌備婚禮! 我想，新郎新娘八成會(huì)忙得暈頭轉(zhuǎn)向。說(shuō)到這種臨陣磨槍的處境，下面這段話中的人也是一樣。 我們來(lái)聽聽：

剛才我們說(shuō)到買新年禮物不要等到最后一刻，其實(shí)，生活中很多時(shí)候都需要未雨綢繆，早作打算。比如，近些年來(lái)人們經(jīng)常談?wù)撻_發(fā)可再生能源，這種有些前瞻性的做法雖然在美國(guó)各州還沒(méi)有普及，但人們顯然意識(shí)到了盡早參與的好處。我們來(lái)聽一聽：
