　　frustrate意為“使沮喪，使挫敗”。devote...to doing sth. 意為“把……用于做某事，致力于做某事”。fight back against意為“奮力抵抗，還擊”，其后的賓語即為抵抗的對象，同時也往往是聽音的重點。也可以只說fight back，表示“還擊，抵抗;抑制”。如：

　　1) Victims of discrimination often don't have the power to fight back. 歧視現(xiàn)象的受害者通常無力還擊。
