劇中：If you act like a clown.

act like a clown ： to act silly, stupid or crazy  行為很愚蠢 （clown：小丑）

e.g. When the boys drink too much beer, they act like clowns.

        男孩子都喝多了，他們都失態(tài)了。

經(jīng)典對(duì)白:

1． 劇中：Pay no attention to me.

pay attention (to somebody or something ) ：    注意，關(guān)注

e.g. You never paid attention to me. I felt like you didn’t care about me.

      你從來(lái)沒(méi)有注意過(guò)我，我覺(jué)得你對(duì)我可能根本就沒(méi)那個(gè)意思。

2．劇中： So bear with me.

bear with someone ： to be patient with someone 容忍，耐心一下

e.g. This speech may take a while, so please bear with me.

         這個(gè)講話還得一會(huì)，對(duì)我耐心一點(diǎn)好么。

3． 劇中：Pardon my French.

在這里French 不是“法語(yǔ)”的意思，而是“臟話”的意思

e.g. If I swear during the soccer game, please pardon my French in advance.

        如果我在看比賽過(guò)程中罵人了，說(shuō)臟話了，請(qǐng)?jiān)徫?，提前說(shuō)一聲。
