A: OK. Richard, do you like art?
 
好，理查德，你喜歡藝術(shù)嗎？
 
B: I do. Very much. Yes.
 
我喜歡。非常喜歡。
 
A: OK. Um, what kind of art do you like?
 
好。嗯，你喜歡哪種藝術(shù)？
 
B: OK. Well, I like all kinds of art.
 
我喜歡各種類型的藝術(shù)。
 
A: OK.
 
好。
 
B: When I was young I used to enjoy painting.
 
我年輕的時(shí)候非常喜歡畫畫。
 
A: OK. What did you paint?
 
那你都畫了些什么？
 
B: OK. When I was a kid, I was in art class, so it was all fairly sort of basic standard stuff like country scenes.
 
我還是個(gè)孩子的時(shí)候，我上過藝術(shù)課，那個(gè)課程教授各種基礎(chǔ)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的事情，比如鄉(xiāng)村風(fēng)景畫。
 
A: Country scenes! So in a country scene, what can you see?
 
鄉(xiāng)村風(fēng)景畫！那鄉(xiāng)村風(fēng)景畫中都有什么？
 
B: OK, I can see a red house, with a chimney, billowing smoke..um..green fields , luscious green grass in England.
 
我可以看到一間有煙囪的紅色房子，煙囪冒出滾滾濃煙，還有綠色的田野，還有英國柔軟的青草。
 
A: Wow, so is your..is your home like that in England?
 
哇，那你在英國的家就是那個(gè)樣子的嗎？
 
B: Actually, no! No, It's not in the....we're in the suburbs of London, we're not really in the country.
 
實(shí)際上不是！它不是在……我們住在倫敦郊區(qū)，實(shí)際上我們并不住在鄉(xiāng)村。
 
A: Oh!
 
哦！
 
B: And I used to paint sort of idyllic countryside scenes.
 
我以前會畫田園般的鄉(xiāng)村風(fēng)景。
 
A: OK. Which do you prefer, the country of the city?
 
好。那鄉(xiāng)村和城市你更喜歡哪個(gè)？
 
B: To paint or to live in?
 
是指繪畫還是生活？
 
A: Uh..to paint.
 
嗯，繪畫。
 
B: To paint! To paint I prefer the country.
 
繪畫！繪畫來說，我更喜歡鄉(xiāng)村。
 
A: OK. Great.
 
好。很好。
 
B: To live in, I think it is more convenient being, being near a big city.
 
要是生活的話，我認(rèn)為住在大城市附近更方便。
