　　【析句】多重復合句，主句為each patient is assigned to a primary nurse, 后面有兩個定語從句，who visits...and constructs...修飾a primary nurse, 定語從句內又有從句，that引導定語從句修飾healt account。

　　2. When a consumer finds that an item she or he bought is faulty or in some way does not live up to the manufacturer's claim for it, the first step is to present thewarranty, or any other records which might help, at the store of purchase. (1993. 閱讀. Text 3)

　　【譯文】如果消費者發(fā)現自己購買的東西出現質量問題或是在某方面沒有達到生產商宣傳的標準，他首先要做的是向購買這個東西的店里出示保單或者其他有用的購物憑證。

　　【析句】多重復合句，有一個主句和一個從句構成，其中主句和從句中又包含從句。主句the first step is to present...records, which might help...為定語從句修飾records，從句是when引導的時間狀語從句，finds后that引導賓語從句，為finds的內容。

　　3. There can hardly be a man who hasn't at some time in his life smiled at the sight of a woman shaking in a thin dress on a winter day, or delicately picking her way through deep snow in high-heeled shoes. (1993. 閱讀. Text 4)

　　【譯文】平時若看到一位女士冬天穿著單薄的衣服瑟瑟發(fā)抖，或腳蹬高跟鞋在深雪中小心翼翼地向前走，幾乎所有的男人都會發(fā)笑。

　　【析句】主句為There can hardly be a man,there be結構，hardly表示否定。who hasn't smiled at...為定語從句修飾a man，注意定語從句中，shaking in thin dress or picking her way...，動名詞作定語，相當于who shaked。
