　　留守兒童(left-behind children)問題是一個突出的社會問題。隨著中國社會政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)的快速發(fā)展，越來越多的青壯年農(nóng)民走人城市，在廣大農(nóng)村也隨之產(chǎn)生了一個特殊的未成年人群體—農(nóng)村留守兒童。留守的少年兒童正處于成長發(fā)育的關(guān)鍵時期，他們無法得到父母的關(guān)心和呵護(hù)，容易產(chǎn)生心理問題，也不利于今后的成長。各個家庭、整個社會都應(yīng)該站在構(gòu)建和諧社會的高度來認(rèn)識這一問題，以人的生存與發(fā)展為本，采取措施，積極穩(wěn)妥地加以解決。

　　The problem of left-behind children is a prominent social problem.With the rapid development of social economy and politics in China,more and more young farmers go to cities.Consequently,a special group of juveniles,left-behind children,appear in rural areas.Left-behind children are at the critical period of growth,but they have no access to parents,care,which will easily lead to psychological problems and is harmful to their future development.Every family and the whole society should see this problem from the angle of building a harmonious society.We should take active and steady measures to solve this problem on the basis of existence and development of individuals.

　　2.處于成長發(fā)育的關(guān)鍵時期:可譯為at the critical period of growth.

　　3.無法得到父母的關(guān)心和呵護(hù):可譯為have no access to parents'care。其中have no access to意為“無法獲得”。

　　4.容易產(chǎn)生心理問題:該句翻譯時可使用非限制性定語從句，即which will easily lead to psychological problems。
