這一期繼續(xù)“小詞大用”，今天分享put用法系列一：
它的發(fā)音要注意，不要讀/pu:t/,讀/put/
就像“好”good不讀/gu:d/,讀/gud/，very good
so, we are gonna talk about put.
1. stay put 表示別動，for example
Stay put. I'll be right back. 別動，我馬上就回來。
2.put表示表達，陳述，for example
Let me put it this way. 讓我這么跟你說吧
another example，另一個例子，How do I put this? 我該怎么跟你說才好呢？
3. put off表示往后推延，推遲，for example
I'm sorry. I'm gonna have to put it off.
不好意思對不起，這個我不得不往后推延一下。
another example，再跟大家分享一個名言警句
New put off till tomorrow what you can do today. 今天能完成的事，別推到明天去做
言外之意就是，不要有procrastination，不要有拖延癥
4. put on表示穿上，for example
Hey. It's pretty cold outside. You better put on your jacket. 嗨，外面挺冷的，你最好把你的外套穿上。
還可以說put on your shoes. 把鞋穿上
