中華人民共和國(guó)第一屆職業(yè)技能大賽12月10日在廣東省廣州市開幕。中共中央總書記、國(guó)家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平發(fā)來(lái)賀信，向大賽的舉辦表示熱烈的祝賀，向參賽選手和廣大技能人才致以誠(chéng)摯的問(wèn)候。習(xí)近平在賀信中指出，職業(yè)技能競(jìng)賽為廣大技能人才提供了展示精湛技能、相互切磋技藝的平臺(tái)，對(duì)壯大技術(shù)工人隊(duì)伍、推動(dòng)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展具有積極作用。

President Xi Jinping sent a letter of congratulations on Dec 10 to the country's first vocational skills competition in Guangzhou, capital city of south China's Guangdong province. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, extended sincere greetings to the contestants and all skilled workers in the letter. The vocational skills competition provides a platform for workers to display their skills and learn from each other, and plays a positive role in expanding the skilled workforce and promoting social and economic development, according to the letter.

【知識(shí)點(diǎn)】

為充分發(fā)揮職業(yè)技能競(jìng)賽在促進(jìn)技能人才培養(yǎng)、推動(dòng)職業(yè)技能培訓(xùn)和弘揚(yáng)工匠精神中的重要作用，經(jīng)國(guó)務(wù)院批準(zhǔn)，人力資源社會(huì)保障部從2020年起，每?jī)赡昱e辦一屆全國(guó)技能大賽。

第一屆全國(guó)技能大賽的主題是“新時(shí)代、新技能、新夢(mèng)想”，共設(shè)86個(gè)比賽項(xiàng)目，包括63個(gè)世賽選拔項(xiàng)目和23個(gè)國(guó)賽精選項(xiàng)目。來(lái)自全國(guó)各省(區(qū)、市)、新疆生產(chǎn)建設(shè)兵團(tuán)和有關(guān)行業(yè)的36個(gè)代表團(tuán)，2500多名選手參賽，是新中國(guó)成立以來(lái)首次舉辦的競(jìng)賽規(guī)格最高、項(xiàng)目最多、規(guī)模最大、技能水平最高的綜合性國(guó)家職業(yè)技能大賽。

大力弘揚(yáng)勞模精神、勞動(dòng)精神、工匠精神，激勵(lì)更多勞動(dòng)者特別是青年一代走技能成才、技能報(bào)國(guó)之路，培養(yǎng)更多高技能人才和大國(guó)工匠，為全面建設(shè)社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化國(guó)家提供有力人才保障。

We should make efforts to carry forward the spirit of model workers, labor and craftsmanship, stimulate more workers, especially the younger generation, to improve their skills, and foster more highly skilled workers and craftsmen in a bid to achieve the goal of fully building a modern socialist country.
