　　to jump right out of one’s skin

　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Jump是“跳”的意思，to jump right out of one’s skin直接翻譯就是“從某人的皮膚里跳出來”。這當(dāng)然不可能發(fā)生的事情。實際上，to jump right out of one’s skin就是指“被一個突然發(fā)生的事情或者是未預(yù)料的危險嚇了一大跳”。此外，這個短語也有可以表示“使某人驚喜”。對話中“I almost jumped right out of myskin.”的意思就是“我真是驚喜萬分”。
