　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Pan是盆的意思。Pan out是淘金用語(yǔ)。十九世紀(jì)的加州是人們實(shí)現(xiàn)黃金夢(mèng)的寶地，淘金的人蜂擁而至。他們用陶金盆pan把沙子洗掉叫做pan out the sand，泥沙隨水流去之后，如果運(yùn)氣好的話，盤上就會(huì)留下金燦燦的顆粒，那就是淘金成功了。由此，而產(chǎn)生了習(xí)語(yǔ)pan out，用來(lái)表示“成功，好結(jié)果”。
