tear it直譯過來就是：“撕破它，撕掉它”，這個(gè)短語的正確意思是：“打破計(jì)劃，使希望破滅，使計(jì)劃泡湯”。因此，當(dāng)美國人說"That tears it!"時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"I'm fed up with it."、"I've had enough."。
