誠(chéng)實(shí)總是上策。

Honesty is the best policy 直譯過(guò)來(lái)就是：“誠(chéng)實(shí)是最佳政策”，其實(shí)policy在此并不是“政策”的意思，而應(yīng)該當(dāng)“原則”來(lái)講。這個(gè)俚語(yǔ)的意思是：“誠(chéng)為上策，誠(chéng)實(shí)是最佳的處世原則”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"Honesty is the best policy."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"Honesty must come first."、"Honesty is the most important rule."、"To be honest is of great importance."。

情景對(duì)白：
