　　* 此句型通常是看到有人不適時詢問對方的話。

　　例:Tom:Why are you cying?What's the matter?

　　Mary:I didn't pass the examination.

　　湯姆:你怎么哭了，怎么回事啊?

　　瑪麗:我考試沒過啊。

　　2. Just a minute. 請等一下。

　　* 這句話其實前面省略了please wait這兩個詞，它的原名型應(yīng)是“Please wait just a minute.”(請等一下。)，通常老美口語只說“Just a minute.”與此同義的還有“Just a moment.”和“Just a second.”(且慢，請等一下。)

　　例:Tom:See you tomorrow.

　　Bob:Just a minute.I want a word with you.

　　湯姆:明天見。

　　鮑勃:請等一下。我有話跟你說。

　　3. Let me get the airsick bag ready. 讓我把嘔吐袋準備好。

　　get sth.ready 將某物準備妥當

　　例:Let me get the camera ready.
