[誤] Young as he is, he has become a vice-professor in English department.

[正] Young as he is, he has become an associate professor in English department.

注：許多人都知道“副總統(tǒng)”叫 vice-president，于是想當然地以為“副教授”就應(yīng)該是 vice-professor，其實不對。“副”和 vice- 并不總是一一對應(yīng)的，又如：副產(chǎn)品(by production)，副業(yè)(side occupation)，副作用(by-effect)等。
