Now sleeps the crimson petal, now the white;

Nor waves the cypress in the palace walk;

Now droops the milkwhite peacock like a ghost, and like a ghost she glimmers on to me.

乳白色的孔雀幽靈般消沉她，又幽靈般地向我閃著微光。

Now lies the Earth all Danae to the stars, and all thy heart lies open unto me.

綴滿(mǎn)星辰的蒼穹籠罩著如達(dá)娜厄般恬息著的大地，而你的心兒整個(gè)地向我開(kāi)啟。

Now slides the silent meteor on, and leaves a shining furrow, as thy thoughts in me.

流星悄然掠過(guò)，留下一道光亮轍印，猶似你留予我的思慮。

Now folds the lily all her sweetness up, and slips into the bosom of the lake: so fold thyself, my dearestthou, and slip into my bosom and be lost in me.

百合斂起她的全部芳馨潛入湖泊的中心：我的愛(ài)，你也這樣斂起自己吧潛入我的心，隨后迷失蹤影。
