He said the threat of attack like the one in Paris ten days ago remain serious and imminent. From Bruselle, here' Alex Foseths ."It will remain the status of close,and so much schools will remain closed, the metro will remain closed. Some public buildings, the advice for people still to avoid crowded places. The Prime Minister was talking about, trying to minimize the the risk of big events by canceling those. So still a very intense nervous atmosphere's continuing. I think it's consequence we can expect to see the security services is still out on the street. There is a very heavy presence here of armed forces, of police and it's disrupting, obviously, day-to-day life." The Belgium authorities also say they've charged the 4 suspects with terrorism-related activities, but Salah Abdeslam who is not to be involved in Paris attacks is still at large.

French police are analyzing what maybe a suicide belt which's been found by rubbish collectors in the southern Paris suburb of Montrouge. It's been examined to see if could be worn by Salah Abdeslam. From Paris, here's Hugh Schofield. "French media quoting sources closed to investigations said on superficial inspection it looks like the device worn by Paris attackers. If it does turn out to be a suicide belt, it could provide an important clue to the movement of Salah Abdeslam on the Paris attacks. It's now thought that after delivering the forth bombers to their destination. He was intended to blow himself up to but decided against it. Phone tracers put up late that evening close till that belt was found."

The US ministry says that a single air raid in northeastern Syria, its planes destroyed more than 200 native oil tankers controlled by Islamic State group. The United States has issued a worldwide traveling alert warning American citizens of increased terrorist threats. The official advice says current information suggests that group such as Islamic State, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram continue to planned attacks in multiple regions. Scientists in California have been inserting malaria blocking genes into the DNA of mosquitoes. The technique raised the hope of creating populations of the insects that are unable to transmit the deadly disease to humans. Mosquitoes are showing increasing drug resistance. Ben Lowings reports. "The research is experimenting with a DNA of a type of mosquitoe found in India. Dr. Antoni and his team showed that they could give insects new DNA code to make it a poorer host for the malaria paracide. After a pair of genetic-modified parent mosquitoes made it, they also bring inherited the same resistance gene. The trait was passed on to almost 100% of the offsprings of treated mosquitoes."
