Fox went up on stage.
小狐走上舞臺(tái)。
"Sit here, Mr. Smarty," said Mr. Yee. "Let's see how brave you are."
“坐這里,小聰明先生,”易先生說(shuō)。“讓我瞧瞧你有多勇敢。”
"Brave?" said Fox.
“勇敢?”小狐說(shuō)。
"Abracadabra!" said Mr. Yee.
“麻利麻利哄!”易先生念叨。
Slowly the chair rose in the air.
椅子慢慢浮起來(lái)。
"Where are the wires?" said Fox.
“拽著椅子的線在哪里?”小狐說(shuō)。
"No wires," said Mr. Yee. "Only magic."
“沒(méi)有線,”易先生說(shuō),“全靠魔力。”
Fox held on tight. And the chair flew all over.
小狐抓緊身下飛來(lái)飛去的椅子。
"I'd like to come down," said Fox.
“我想下來(lái)了,”小狐說(shuō)。
"Oh my," said Mr. Yee. "I forgot how to do this part."
“哦,天啊,”易先生說(shuō),“我不記得該怎么做了。”
"Try Abracadabra!" said Fox.
“試試麻利麻利哄!”小狐說(shuō)。
"Abracadabra," said Mr. Yee.
“麻利麻利哄,”易先生說(shuō)。
Fox came gently down. And the show was over.
小狐慢慢降落下來(lái),節(jié)目到此也結(jié)束了。
At home Fox told Louise to sit down.
回到家小狐讓露易絲坐到椅子上。
"Abracadabra!" said Fox. The chair didn't move.
“麻利麻利哄!”小狐說(shuō),但椅子紋絲不動(dòng)。
"Rats!" said Fox.
“真沒(méi)勁!”小狐說(shuō)。
"You just need practices," said Mom.
“你多練練就好了,”媽媽說(shuō)。
