時差N小時:工作在壓力之下

If you love your job, part of the reason may be thatyou freely chose the work that you do.

You were not forced to do it. But imagine a situation during wartime in which there were somesoldiers or guards with guns standing above you, forcing you to do that same job. Suddenly itwould not be pleasurable work anymore.

Thus, although no one we can see nearby may have an actual gun, we use this idiom in anywork situation where the workers are put under strong pressure to perform quickly andefficiently.

因此,雖然我們身邊沒有任何一個有真槍的人,我們通常將這則諺語用在一種工作條件下，這個工作狀態(tài)就是工人們要頂著巨大的壓力,快速高效地執(zhí)行任務(wù)。
