絕不像攀援的凌霄花， I will by no means be the climbing flower

借你的高枝炫耀自己： which feels glorious of showing off herself relying on your high branches

絕不學(xué)癡情的鳥(niǎo)兒，I will in no way learn from the spoony bird

為綠蔭重復(fù)單調(diào)的歌曲;repeating the humdrum song for the green shade again and again

也不止像泉源，nor will I simply learn from the source of the stream

常年送來(lái)清涼的慰籍;delivering the comfort of coolness all the year round

也不止像險(xiǎn)峰，增加你的高度，襯托你的威儀。 Neither steep peak , heightening your height and stressing your majesty

甚至日光。Neither even sunshine

甚至春雨。 And the rain of spring

不，這些都還不夠!no , all of these go too far from enough

我必須是你近旁的一株木棉，I must be a ceiba next to you

做為樹(shù)的形象和你站在一起。 Standing as a tree with you

根，緊握在地下， with our roots holding tightly beneath the soil

葉，相觸在云里。And our leaves touching one another in the clouds

每一陣風(fēng)過(guò)，after every gust of the warm wind

我們都互相致意，we greet to each other politely and emotionally

但沒(méi)有人 but no one

聽(tīng)懂我們的言語(yǔ)。 Can interpret our whispers

你有你的銅枝鐵干， you possess your own brass-like branch and iron-like trunk

像刀，像劍，like falchion and sword

也像戟，as well as halberd

我有我的紅碩花朵，I own my ruddy flowers

像沉重的嘆息，like the weighty sigh

又像英勇的火炬，as well as a stout torch

我們分擔(dān)寒潮、風(fēng)雷、霹靂;we share cold waves , storms and thunders

我們共享霧靄流嵐、虹霓，and also share mist and sunglow ,as well as rainbow

仿佛永遠(yuǎn)分離，our departure appears seemingly

卻又終身相依，but literally we accompany each other all life long

這才是偉大的愛(ài)情，this is true great love

堅(jiān)貞就在這里: the constancy lies in the conception that

不僅愛(ài)你偉岸的身軀，loving you does not simply mean loving your strapping body

也愛(ài)你堅(jiān)持的位置，腳下的土地。But also means loving the position you insist on , and the ground beneath your feet

翻譯完這首詩(shī),已差不多一點(diǎn)半了.當(dāng)我最后翻譯完時(shí),終于松了一口氣.這次翻譯得比以前順利,大概翻譯得多了,熟能生巧的原因吧.

對(duì)著電腦整整一個(gè)小時(shí)來(lái)弄這首詩(shī),我的眼睛都酸痛了!但我想這是值得的.因?yàn)槲野l(fā)現(xiàn)我每翻譯一首詩(shī),我都進(jìn)步很大!尤其是在繾詞造句方面,收獲良多!以后我會(huì)繼續(xù)這項(xiàng)工作的!但愿大家喜歡我翻譯的詩(shī),也歡迎大家提出意見(jiàn),我們一起進(jìn)步!
