(一)形容詞與副詞的互相轉(zhuǎn)譯
1. 英語名詞譯成漢語動詞時,修飾該名詞的形容詞往往轉(zhuǎn)譯成漢語副詞。
1) Occasionally a drizzle came down, and the intermittent flashes of lightening made us turn apprehensive glances toward Zero.
偶爾下一點毛毛雨,斷斷續(xù)續(xù)的閃電使得我們不時憂慮地朝著零區(qū)方向望去。
2) It was a clear and unemotional exposition of the President's reasons for willing to begin a Chinese-American dialogue.
這篇發(fā)言清楚明白、心平氣和地說明了總統(tǒng)希望開始中美對話的原因。
3) We took brief, restless naps, struggled to understand the intermittent broadcasting of Radio Prague, ...
