MJ: And this is MJ from Korea.
Mike: OK, MJ, we are gonna talk about wages. Have you ever worked for minimum wage?
MJ: Actually I haven't really worked, so I didn't earn any money. So, I don't know the definition of the minimum wage and also I didn't get the minimum wage.
Mike: So you don't work, you don't get minimum wage.
MJ: How about you?
MJ:你呢?
Mike: Let's see...Well, I think in high school, I actually worked for a cleaning company, and I was assigned to a shopping mall as a toilet cleaner.
MJ: Toilet cleaner?!
MJ:潔廁員?
Mike: Yeah, I worked as a cleaning...or or, let's call it floor supervisor. I prefer that word.
MJ: OK.
MJ:好。
Mike: And, so I'm not sure if that was minimum wage, but I thought I...I thought the pay was pretty good. I got about six dollars or seven dollars per hour. Six dollars per hour. But remember this was way back like...probably a decade ago. So I thought it was a pretty good pay.
MJ: But it could be minimum wage, because it was a hard work. Compare to a hard work and that money, it could be.
Mike: Well, you are right. I could've been paid...
