① worth作形容詞用時,表示“值得……的,價值……的”,只能作表語,但不可單獨作表語,后面必須跟名詞、代詞或動名詞,結(jié)構為:
be worth sth. (a visit,much money)
be worth doing(要用動名詞的主動形式表示被動意義)
This picture is worth 500 dollars. 這幅畫值500美元。
His suggestion is worth our consideration. 他的建議值得我們考慮。
