關(guān)鍵詞:
There are many different ways to ask for help in English. How you ask differs on the nature of the favor:
We're going to start from small favors and work our way up to big favors:
Could you do me a quick/small favor?
注意,要用could, 別用can
It has nothing to do with tense. It's about politeness and respect:
Could you do me a small/quick favor", 還能這么問:
Do you have a second/sec/minute?
Do you have some time?
How to make a request if someone is busy?
Is now a good time?
Are you free right now?
Could I interrupt you for a second?
Another great way to ask for help is using the word "hand":
Could you give/lend me a hand?
Could you give/lend me a quick hand?
How do you ask for bigger favors?
The tone of voice and the pause between the request and the favor mark the difference between a small and a big favor:
Usually the bigger the favor, the bigger the pause:
Could you do me a favor?
I don't know how to say this, but...
I don't know how to put it, but...
I'm so sorry to ask...but...
Usually you don't just ask "Could you help me?"通常不會只說“Could you help me?"
It's usually help plus something: 一般help后面都會加點(diǎn)內(nèi)容
例如:
Could you help me out?...
Could you help me with something?...
Could you help me?
“Could you help me?" or "Help me" sounds like it's a really urgent situation: 這兩個(gè)說法通常是很緊急的情況下用的
