臺(tái)灣一趟以Hello Kitty為主題的太魯閣號(hào)列車(chē)于上周一首次運(yùn)行。
The train has make its first run on a round trip fromTaipei to Taitung, according to the Taiwan RailwaysAdministration.
根據(jù)來(lái)自臺(tái)灣鐵路局的消息,這列火車(chē)首次運(yùn)行路線是從從臺(tái)北到臺(tái)東的往返。
The design concept of the Hello Kitty train is "Toconnect world and Taiwan with Hello Kitty". The 8carriage are designed as Taiwan, Asia, Oceania, Europe, Africa, America and North and Southpole, and then back to Taiwan.
Hello Kitty彩繪列車(chē)以“跟著Hello Kitty連結(jié)臺(tái)灣與世界”為設(shè)計(jì)理念,8節(jié)車(chē)廂設(shè)計(jì)成由臺(tái)灣出發(fā),周游亞洲、大洋洲、歐洲、非洲、美洲、南北極后,再回到臺(tái)灣。
The train was installed with a total of 376 headrest covers with Hello Kitty patterns printed onthem. But when the train finished its round trip from Taipei to Taitung on Monday, the trainattendants found that all but 48 headrest covers were stolen.
該列車(chē)共配有376條印有Hello Kitty圖案的枕巾。而列車(chē)當(dāng)天完成從臺(tái)北至臺(tái)東的往返運(yùn)行時(shí),乘務(wù)員發(fā)現(xiàn)只剩下48條枕巾,其余全部被偷。
Each headrest cover cost some NT$50. The estimated loss totaled about NT$16,000.
每條枕巾的成本約為新臺(tái)幣50元。據(jù)估計(jì),此次損失約為1.6萬(wàn)新臺(tái)幣。
The train company said it prepared 120 extra covers just in case but did not expect that 328pieces, or more than 87%, would be stolen on the train's maiden trip.
