　　Green light also means to give permission for something to happen. “green light ”還可以翻譯為“準(zhǔn)許，批準(zhǔn)”的意思，它在口語中也是相當(dāng)實(shí)用的。

　　短語give the green light 千萬不能意為給一個(gè)綠燈，它的意思是“給予批準(zhǔn)”。而get the green light ,意為“得到許可”。
