Online shows are prohibited from having sections in which viewers spend money to buy votes for entertainment stars, according to a notice released on Monday by the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau.

The shows are strictly forbidden from instigating or encouraging netizens to vote for their favorite online show competitors via materialistic approaches such as purchasing specific goods or memberships, the bureau said in a notice released on its WeChat account.
嚴(yán)禁刻意引導(dǎo)、鼓勵(lì)網(wǎng)民采取購(gòu)物、充會(huì)員等物質(zhì)化手段為選手投票。
No institution or individual is allowed to fabricate vote statistics or influence the results of the shows by buying votes, it added.
嚴(yán)禁任何機(jī)構(gòu)和個(gè)人以"花錢買票"等形式進(jìn)行數(shù)據(jù)造假,干擾節(jié)目選拔。
