初赴省別妾于三十里頭

It’s easy to get drunk with wine of adieu.

別酒醺醺渾易醉，

Turning my head, I find thirty miles out of view.

回過(guò)頭來(lái)三十里。

My steed won’t stop but fly from mile to mile;

馬兒不住去如飛，

I hold its halter for a while,

牽一憩，

And sit down for a while.

坐一憩，

What can I do when severed by hills and rills from you!

斷送煞人山與水。

Though glorious task should be undertaken,

是則是功名終可喜，

How can love be forsaken?

不道恩情拚得未！

The streamer of mist-veiled wine shop slants away.

云迷村店酒旗斜。

I may forward go,

去也是，

Or I may stay.

住也是，

To go or stay is for you as for me the same woe.

煩惱自家煩惱你。
