雙語詩歌翻譯|《菜根譚》

《菜根譚》是明朝還初道人洪應(yīng)明收集編著的一部論述修養(yǎng)、人生、處世、出世的語錄集，為曠古稀世的奇珍寶訓(xùn)。對于人的正心修身、養(yǎng)性育德，有不可思議的潛移默化的力量。 其文字簡煉明雋，兼采雅俗。似語錄，而有語錄所沒有的趣味；似隨筆，而有隨筆所不易及的整飭；似訓(xùn)誡，而有訓(xùn)誡所缺乏的親切醒豁；且有雨余山色，夜靜鐘聲，點染其間，其所言清霏有味，風(fēng)月無邊。本節(jié)大意：人一定要有虛懷若谷的胸襟，只有謙虛謹慎才能獲得真知灼見；人一定要堅強執(zhí)著，意志堅定，那樣才能不受名利的誘惑。

心不可不虛，虛則義理來居；心不可不實，實則物欲不入。

Man must keep his mind wide open, so that righteousness can take up its dwelling there. At the same time, one must keep one’s mind substantially filled, so that it can block the inroads of endless desires for material comforts.
