Peace Commissioner is Mediating in Colombia

And in Colombia: Peace Commissioner【委員；使者】Camilo Gomez is holding more talks with the rebel revolutionary armed forces【武裝軍隊(duì)】of Colombia. Mr. Gomez is seeking information about the murder of congressman(1) Diego Turbay on December 29th. The rebels have refused to confirm(2) or deny(3) responsibility for the murder. The talks are being held in a large area in southern Colombia that the government has declared(4) free of military activity. Pressure is increasing for President Andres Pastrana to suspend peace talks with the rebels.
